Aiden Byrne Partnership With Spode

The Asymmetry Range - Gourmet eating, professional cooking, everyday living
Asymmetry was road tested in Aiden’s kitchen at his restaurant, The Church Green in Lymm, Cheshire. Each piece is made from highly durable porcelain with a rolled edge for professional levels of chip resistance. Dishwasher and microwave safe, the high performance pieces can go straight from freezer to oven to table; a beautiful, strong and practical range for everyday living.
Shown right are dinner plate (£12), side plate (£7), shallow bowl (£11.50) and mug (£15 for two). Shown below are medium platter (£22.50) and individual casserole (£19.50).
Spode has been producing wonderful tableware for over 200 years and that tradition looks set to continue with its latest design, Asymmetry, a canvas for any food celebration.
Aiden Byrne, rising star of the British food scene, was keen to offer advice and bring his own experience to the design process. Good cooking, quality produce and supreme presentation are his trademarks. "I think about how the food looks on the plate as well as how it feels on the palate. The distinctive shape of Asymmetry gives me licence to be visually creative and have fun. This is a fantastic range for those who are passionate about cooking."
